Job Description:
As a Design Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the firm including preparation of project documents, sample coordination, client correspondence, order procurement, shipping logistics and management of project inquires.


- Prepare detailed specifications for construction and installation purposes

- Order samples and maintain sample library
- Assist with development of design concepts, vision boards, and material palettes
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and monitor construction progress

- Place orders for furnishings

- Coordinate shipping, track progress and confirm receipt of products - Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client, builder and vendor relationships

Job Requirements:
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Desire to learn and be a team player 

- Ability to work in person at Weybridge Studio 

Desired Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field

- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Experience with Studio Designer software

- Experience with Bluebeam Revu software

- Proficiency in AutoCAD
